<p>Dr. Malmquist is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced training and experience in the field of dental implants, bone regeneration and bone grafting.</p>
<p>Dr. Malmquist is a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, an honor given only after extensive written and oral examinations. He is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Oral Pathology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Oregon Health Sciences University, and is on the staff at several Portland Hospitals providing trauma support for maxillofacial injuries. He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists; honors bestowed by his colleagues in dentistry.</p>
<p>Dr. Malmquist has lectured nationally, as well as internationally, on all phases of implantology and bone regeneration. He has authored numerous articles and several chapters in the most recent textbooks on dental implants and bone regeneration. He is actively engages in current research in bone physiology and bone regeneration. He currently maintains a private practice in Portland where bone regeneration and dental implants make up a large part of his practice. </p>
