Dr. Jay P. Malmquist
Dr. Malmquist is a board certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced training and extensive experience in the field of dental implants, bone regeneration and bone augmentation. Dr. Malmquist has been involved in implant dentistry for over twenty years, and has placed thousands of implants for patients of all ages. He has become an international lecturer on the subject. Dr. Malmquist has also helped to pioneer many of the newest bone grafting techniques, and is actively involved in research on various techniques and procedures related to implant treatment.
In addition to instructing his dental colleagues on all phases of dental implant treatment and bone regeneration, Dr. Malmquist has authored numerous articles and several chapters in the most recent textbooks on advanced procedures and techniques in implant treatment. He is considered an expert in the field and has one of the premier surgical implant practices in the country.
Dr. Malmquist received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and postgraduate education through Oregon Health and Science University. He is a member of numerous professional organizations and is a Diplomate of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and the International College of Dentists; honors bestowed by his colleagues in dentistry.
