Your appointments will always be scheduled to provide you with Dr. Malmquist’s undivided time and attention to ensure that your individual needs are being met and your questions are answered.
We reserve time in our schedule based on the specific needs of our patients and we make every effort to adhere to that schedule to give each patient the full benefit of the time that has been allocated to their treatment. To this end, we ask that all patients arrive at the designated time or earlier if there is any business that needs to be conducted with the front office, or if this is the first appointment in our office. If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice so that we can make your reserved time available for another patient.
Dr. Malmquist generally prefers to see patients for a comprehensive examination and consultation prior to scheduling surgical procedures, so that he can determine the optimal treatment plan, including the type of including the type of anesthesia that will be most comfortable for you.
Although we are generally scheduled weeks in advance, please be assured that if you are in pain or have an emergency situation, every attempt will be made to see you that day.
Dr. Malmquist is on call 24 hours a day. If an emergency arises and you need to contact him after hours, please call our office at 503-292-8824 and the exchange operator will have him paged.
