How Does It Work?
Four Simple Steps – One Amazing Result
- First Visit
At your initial consultation, we will determine your exact “wants and needs” and take a 3D CT scan which will ensure that adequate bone exists to support the dental implant and will be instrumental in the planning phase.
- Second Visit
Using advanced technology, including ICat CT scans, 3D facial scanners, digital photography, and advanced software modeling, we plan ideal outcomes for our dental implants.
- Third Visit
At this appointment, we position your dental implants, replacing the root of the original tooth with a titanium fixture. This procedure is typically performed under local anesthesia or with intravenous sedation.
Dental implants need adequate time to heal, and time timeline can vary from case to case. After healing, the implant is ready for the final stage—placement of the final crown restoration on the dental implant. The entire dental implant process, from start to finish, usually takes four to six months.
In some cases, placement and finalization of the implant can be accomplished in the same surgical day. Referred to as Teeth in a Day, this treatment offers immediate solutions to complex dental problems.
